User Impact Survey Results

Methodology


Results from our annual User Satisfaction & Impact Survey consistently reveal patterns of positive impact on health decisions and health behaviors of users of the online tool. The survey shows people are using the site to increase their knowledge to make healthy lifestyle changes, find reliable answers to their health questions and use the health care system more wisely.

Invitations to participate in the survey were e-mailed to a representative sample of users of custom Mayo Clinic Web sites. A total of 10,289 responses were received for a response rate of 12.8 percent.

Mayo Clinic online content and tools provided surveyed readers with valuable health information and guidance. The information provided led to increased confidence and caused a majority to make or consider making a change to healthier behaviors.
